Dr. Zoi Pittaki Joined us as a Lecturer in Creativity and Entrepreneurship.
Dr Pittaki obtained her PhD in 2017, from the University of Glasgow, Economic and Social History. Her thesis explored the impact of the tax system on business in post-Second World War Greece and proposed an extension to William Baumol’s theory on the interaction between institutions and entrepreneurship.
Her current research involves an examination of entrepreneurship’s contribution to the revamping of war-torn and crisis economies.
Prior to joining Brunel, she was a Visiting Lecturer in the University of Glasgow, Economic and Social History and a Teaching Assistant in the University of Strathclyde, Strathclyde Business School.
Her hobbies include woodland walks, dancing and playing / listening to music.
