Excellence in Marketing Research

Here’s a roundup of recent achievements in marketing research for Brunel Business School academics is in order to start the New Year on a happy note.

We are very proud to share that two of our Professors lecturing on the MSc Applied Corporate Brand Management, TC Melewar and Suraksha Gupta, have been authors of one of the most read articles of Industrial Marketing Management in 2011.

Another Professor on the programme, John Balmer, was awarded funding from the University Research Series Award, and run a three day Heritage, Nostalgia and Tradition: Reflections and Directions Symposium (30th November – 2ndDecember) at Brunel University and at the Royal Overseas League Club in St James’ London. It is envisaged that one or more special editions of journals will be linked to the event and John sees this as the first of what he hopes will be an annual symposium on heritage identities and heritage corporate brands.

We are sure students on the MSc Applied Corporate Brand Management programme, and other programmes at the School, as just as inspired to have such creative academics as we are!
