MBA Scholarships of £5000 each announced for 2012

Brunel Business School is delighted to announce that seven MBA scholarships of £5000 will be available to eligible Home/EU applicants towards their studies on the prestigious MBA Programme. The scholarships are available for applicants joining the Full-Time MBA programme in September 2012.

Commented, Director of MBA Programmes, Prof Amir Sharif:

The Brunel MBA already represents excellent value for money and the scholarships for the 2012 intake will make it even more accessible to entrepreneurs or professionals across a range of organisations where training budgets have been cut given the current economic climate . We want to provide as much assistance as we can in these challenging times. The Brunel MBA incorporates an innovative series of leadership masterclasses together with an excellent career development programme, giving it a particularly practical and professional orientation.  We also welcome healthcare and aviation professionals as our MBA offers specialist modules for these sectors.

The £5,000 scholarships will be offered to exceptional candidates who can demonstrate:

  • Fulfillment of the entry qualifications for the Brunel MBA: to be eligible for consideration, candidates will need a UK bachelor’s degree at 2.1 or above – or its overseas equivalent – together with a minimum of three years’ post graduation work experience
  • A managerial position with responsibility for leading a team of professionals and/or a financial budget of a significant size and/or the delivery of an important project
  • Clear career progression to date together with the aspiration to be a senior manager
  • Citizenship of an EU Member State

Candidates will be expected to show how they consider they will benefit from the Brunel MBA as well as the contribution they will be able to make to it.

To be considered for a scholarship, candidates are asked to provide a personal statement setting out why they consider they are eligible for a scholarship; this personal statement should be submitted in addition to the personal statement required to demonstrate suitability for a place on the programme that must be included with all MBA applications.
