BBS Modularity Workshop Group
Dr Des Doran from Brunel Business School, recently organised the 3rd International Service Modularity Workshop held at Brunel University on the 19th and 20th January. The workshop follows successful events held at Copenhagen Business School, Denmark in 2010 and Aalto University, Finland 2011.
Presentations exploring the application of modular principles and practices within a service sector context took place over 2 days and culminated in a talk by BMW representative, Alexandros Mertikas, who provided an organisational perspective on modular practices at the Mini plant in Oxford.
